Good movie rec. I liked the artsie parts of it and of course they do a good job of acting. I love the scene in the restaurant when his friend is going back and asks why he didn't tell him. Great scene.

I think he needed to hit that sister of his though, I mean some people just should not reproduce.

I did finally watch Shelter a couple of weeks ago, and really enjoyed it. Thanks so much for sharing.

Hey, so I decided, after reading your rec and the synopsis on TLA's site, to buy Shelter and I have to say, I don't think I've ever made a better purchasing decision. I have absolutely fallen in love with this movie, to the point of having the occasional delusion about possible relationships with it's characters. (Toss it up to lack of sleep.) ;)

OK. So I downloaded Shelter when you recc'd it. But didn't watch it until this weekend. OMG. Such a wonderful movie! I may be a big sap, but it made me tear up a few times. I've put it on my Christmas List, already. :D *loves*

Cool! Glad you finally got to enjoy it. Film never REALLY goes stale...unless it's stale to begin with, that is!

I really enjoyed it, too. Not sappy, but just real. How's that?
