I've obviously arrived safely. I got in rather late since the plane from Philadelphia to DCA needed to have its tires replaced. It was bad enough that they took the people that were going to some connecting flights off and sent them on a different plane. Then when we got there the baggage carousel that our baggage was to come in on was broken ( Read more... )

I'm glad you're having a good trip and look forward to seeing the pictures. I hope they can come back with a diagnosis for your dad, the not knowing must be rather hard on your mom. I miss you, love you, and look forward to seeing you soon.

Yes, that's rather hard as is just the things my dad can't seem to do anymore. She relied on him for a lot.

We can talk more after you get back--but if your Dad has trouble swallowing, that could account for some of the weight loss.

Here's hoping flying home is a little better than Keystone Cops Run An Airport.

We'll see. That I'm flying home on September 11th makes it a bit worrisome.

He doesn't seem to have problems swallowing though.

Ugh, sounds like quite a trip, at least the airline part. I'm glad you're getting a chance to see your father now.

Yes, it's been very good to see him. I also really like that he's been very happy to have me back for a bit.
