I took the The Religion Founder You Resemble Test and I got Kabir.

Here is what it had to say on him:Not a religion founder in any true sense, instead felt that everyone should follow their own path to God.
"There is nothing but water in the holy pools. I know, I have been swimming there. All the gods sculpted of wood or ivory can't say a word. I ( Read more... )

I'm not quite sure that I understand your response. Do you have any references or websites that are good to dive in to? Direct experience is the best but it helps to know where to experience it at.

I got the founder of Sikhism, and quite liked his quote.
"Let God's grace be the church, and devotion the prayer. Let the holy book be good conduct. Let modesty be compassion, good manners fasting, you should be a worshipper the like of this. Let good deeds be your holy place and truth be your mentor."

Yes, I like that. I'm quite into the no distance between Deity and celebrant/worshipper.

Side question: Have you seen the pentagon-in-the-apple some people put in the backlight Apple logo on their {Power|i}books?
I saw one the other day and thought of you...

Baha'u'llah
You two would probably really get along!

Founder of Baha'i Out of respect to Baha'i worshippers, there is no image of Baha'u'llah on this page. "So powerful is the light of unity that it can illuminate the whole earth."

I thought the Bah'ai religion was fascinating for a better part of high school and put that as my religion on forms and learned everything I could about it-

and then I read that thier position on homosexuality is that it could and should be reversed for prayer. And with all their preaching for unity, this disrespect for diversity bothered me.

I'm sorry to say that I have never heard of it. But I will be looking in to it now.

interestingly I scored the same religious "leader" as you. and I do like his one thought listed above. As for knowing about him? I know next to nothing but know I obviously share qualities and thoughts he has and you as well. Interesting.

Not a religion founder in any true sense, instead felt that everyone
should follow their own path to God.
"There is nothing but water in the holy pools. I know, I have been
swimming there. All the gods sculpted of wood or ivory can’t say a
word. I know, I have been crying out to them. The Sacred Books of the
East are nothing but words. I looked through their covers one day
sideways. What I talk about is only what I have lived through. If you
have not lived through something, it is not true."
