People-watching and links

Sometimes, I take some time during my lunch to go down to the local people congregation area and watch people while reading my book. I really like a wide variety of people but I do know that one feature beats out everything else and that is a smile. smiles. yes they are nice to see.

At the Titanic event we saw at COSI last week, there was a Lego replica (very realistic) of the ship. I think it posted over a million legos and it took 40 hours to put together. It was pretty damn HOT.

In one of my Chi Gong classes, the instructions are to smile slightly while doing the form.

I agree about the smiling. Sometimes it concerns me that my natural, relaxed facial expression looks like I'm frowning. My lips just naturally turn down, even if my expression -- from the inside -- is perfectly neutral. Sometimes I make a concerted effort to smile as I walk down the street, mostly just so that people won't think I'm frowning at them. But there's only so much effort you can put into your facial expression.
