Finished 'A Civil Campaign'

So, I finished 'A Civil Campaign' last night. Very intense book. I can easily see why azurelunatic said that it was a roughtbook to go through after a romantic break-up. It was a bit rough considering the difficulties that cindygerb and I have been going through. Thankfully, I was with her during some of the roughest parts. I found "A Civil Campaign" to be one of the best books of one of the best series I've ever read. I wish she'd write more of them, she's such an awesome writer.

I certainly don't want you and cindygerb to destroy each other, because that would leave a huge void in so many of our lives *hug*

We're rather trying to avoid destruction too. We're continuing to work on our issues and seeing what we can do.

I *have* to get that book now.

I would have to echo a chill/tremor upon reading every one of the qoutes above. Thank you so much for sharing. ^_^

I especially like this one, so pertinant to my relationship with Matt and says at least a part of what keeps it interesting and thus satisfying for me.
She had felt flashes of profound ease in his company, it was true, brief perhaps, but calm like deep water. There had also been moments when she'd wanted to whack him with a brick.

Hopefully you've already read the previous books in the series. Otherwise you're going to miss a lot; especially Komarr...
