I've been getting red weather warning flashes in my system tray from the Weather Network:

Snowfall warning for: Greater Vancouver
Issued at 12:55 PM PST SATURDAY 26 JANUARY 2008

Hilariously enough, that would probably shut down the entire Austin area. Just because they don't understand things like salting the roads and there's like...one snow plow in the entire city.

At home in the D.C. area, it wouldn't be an issue.

See, in Austin, that makes sense. How much snow can Texas really get? Vancouver also only has limited snow plows. But Jeez, this is CANADA. They may not get snow often, but they DO get it. And they panic like babies.
