My monthly random assortment of icons should be posted soon. In the meantime, here are two movie-specific batches: twelve from Here Comes the Navy (1934), and fourteen from Libeled Lady (1936). *g* I obviously had some fun with the coloring on those. They seemed unusually easy to colorize. (Maybe because with all the battleship-gray surroundings, the backgrounds didn't need any work!)

True, true. You did a great job on the colouring on all of them, but for some reason this one stuck out because it looks just enough like it's a hand-tinted photo to really give it a nostalgic post-card feel. I love it. Sailor hat notwithstanding, I may break down and use it. :-p

I really went berserk capturing that movie. You have the slightly purged version after I cleared out the blurry ones. :-p

I have a special technique for giving colorized images a vintage tint. Of course, it also helps disguise the fact if a coloring job looks just a little off. ;)

I need to watch "Here Comes the Navy" again, but I taped my copy during a thunderstorm when there was a lot of breaking-up and pixelating on the cable company's end. It's quite watchable, but irritating. So I wait patiently for TCM to show it again... *gives "Summer Under the People-I-Don't-Care-About" a vicious kick*

*giggle* They are indeed truly Adorable, sitting around on top of some great big guns... ;)

You might have enjoyed it back when we had a Navy base here, and "Squids" were a common sight around town. *g*

You're quite welcome! I had hoped to find better quality images than I did, but I worked with what I had. :)
