[Suddenly, a shadow will be hovering over her as a familiar face will appear looking down at her from behind.

He probably had a couple of wolves catch his scent, but he made sure to approach her without making a sound.]

You seem to be carefree today.

[The wolf stirs and looks up at his approach, but Aisling lays a hand on its head to reassure it.]

Mm. I didn't want to go to school today.

[Reaching down to pet the wolf and give it a greeting nod. That and using that beast master ability to communicate with it.]

Mm. I see, so you wish to stay with your friends today? I hope no one will be too worried that you'll be missing.

No, no one will. I just felt like being here.

[Not that she usually doesn't...]

[The park seemed like a nice place to look around today while she was still getting used to this town. While on her walk she spots the girl and her wolves and goes to sit next to her - to be perfectly honest, she just wanted to pet the dog, but getting to know the residents wouldn't be a bad idea either.]

May I pet your dog?

[Looks up and nods.] Yes.

[She smiled and reached her hand down to lightly stroke its head]

Thank you. [A small pause when she realizes she really should introduce herself.] My name is Estelle.

I'm Aisling.

[Studies her thoughfully.] Are you new? I haven't seen you before.

[Well, it's not like Pokey's unused to seeing you in the park or with the wolves by this point, Aisling. It's kinda gotten common with you. Of course, just because he's gotten used to the wolves doesn't mean they don't still scare the crap out of him. Still, he'll try to approach and assume the jerkiest posture and air possible.]

Thinking hard? That's a new one for you.

[Aisling looks up to see him, and she'll immediately respond to that jab he just made.]

I think a lot, you know.

I haven't seen it.

[He'll keep smirking, but he'll cut it out for the moment.]

So what're you thinking about now?

[She absentmindedly pets the puppy in her lap.] About how I've been in this place for a year now, and we still haven't found a way out.

Yes. I like it here. I don't like being stuck in a house all the time.

[Lancer hadn't exactly planned on leaving the house that particular day. Running into Connla or Bazett's drone was not anything he wanted to deal with at the moment.]

...Aisling? What is it?

[She turns around.] I've just realized...I've been here for a year now.

Really? Hell of a long time to be stuck here.

It is. It's felt like a long time, even though a year isn't very long for me.
