Above her, resting on a tree branch, is Slugger with a handful of dead leaves. When the time seems right, he lets them go and watches as they drift down toward her.]
He scoots his way toward a lower part of the tree limb where he can safely drop to the ground. But, landing in a crouch, he accidentally crushes some of the flowers and looks up at her as if anticipating some sort of... consequence.]
[If Slugger feels anything in response to her disapproving look, he doesn't show it and instead looks down at the flowers. He won't crush any more, but he does pick a few, which he examines closely.
Apparently, he and nature aren't well acquainted (and he might be trying to eat a petal... then immediately spitting it out). In the end, he concludes that the flowers aren't just illusions.]
