loudtwitter appears to be not working anymore. though it works for some other people. i used openid; maybe it's working for other protocols. ah well, no big deal. i don't often say much that's worth reading anyway! ;) i'm sure all of you are crushed ( Read more... )

I like it better when you just post instead of Twittering. It's coherent and actually makes some sense instead of being disjointed little onesided snips of conversations to which I'm not privy.

despite how it looks, i didn't intend to replace lj posts with twitter. i know that's how it panned out for various reasons but it wasn't intentional! honest! at least i kept the twitter replies out of the lj feed so it's not nearly as one-sided as it could have been!

Speaking as someone who doesn't have a post's worth of things to say too often, I am really getting into Twitter, and enjoy reading your tweets, even if I don't "get" all of them all of the time. But occasionally I will totally GET one, like it was an inside joke and I was actually on the inside for once. A good example was "I brought this butter knife for you, don't you want it?"

Hey, did you see that KH is selling a 5-cd set of her Stable Sound-recorded 10-4's?? I don't have the money to buy the whole set at once, but I will end up buying them all eventually. Nothing better than acoustic reinterpretations of TM songs!!!

yeah, twitter is good for quick'n'dirty status type things and i enjoy it too. i kind of wish that it could be more integrated with lj somehow -- sort of like the twitter app for facebook which updates your status based on your latest twitter post. maybe that will happen in the future or maybe not. in any event, i do like having a record of the twitter posts here so for one-stop woj shopping, as it were.

i DID see the 10-4 all set and am going to have to get them as well. it's only a matter of time....

and tying the two things together: a lot of the folks who frequented the old TMO board (and now hang out on ning use twitter for the non-KH stuff. so a lot of my incomprehensibleness can probably be attributed to them. really. they're the crazies, not me. no way. nyuh uh.
