I'm right next to the chute as well. Damn people always clog it since it's so tiny.

Yeah, ours is super-small, too. And, like, we're on the 15th floor, so I'm sorry, I'm not dragging my garbage on the elevator and outside to the dumpster.

I live in a duplex house so we have no community apt chute, we just leave our stuff out by the curb on the proper days. Which is sometimes tragic when stray cats come by to ruin everything and scatter trash across your driveway :(

But I can only imagine the lovely odors you endure for being near a chute like that. Especially if there's a lot of seafood content. I LOVE LOVE LOVE seafood, but man, nothing smells quite like its refuse.
