A cautionary tale involving what I thought was a sensible plan

Last night, Brian and I joined several friends for a pub crawl. Since Taylor was gracious enough to babysit, I decided to wear something that did not need to be breastfeeding-friendly. This is going to sound like a crazy crazy idea..but try it.

if the blisters haven't popped, coat them in clear nail polish. Add a coat every couple of days...

This does two things...

one: the blisters get less air passing through that skin layer so erm actually hurt less
two: for the same reason, the liquid in the blisters absorbs back into your system, thus meaning that by the time the skin peels off, the skin under is just not as raw.

sounds zany but it does really work

As it happens, i have some clear polish. Since this will cost me nothing to try, i'm giving it a shot right now. Certainly couldn't hurt! Thanks for the tip.

women torture the hell out of their feet, man. not that i don't think heels look nice and all. but damn. i could not live with this if i was a woman. i'd be the mom in combat boots.
