shihanaday entries), I have committed to doing SEVEN drabble/fics inspired by pics from
hyukaday... as opposed to a month's worth, cause I suck like that. :D Rules? I pick ANY SEVEN pictures from

Hyukaday #422 Hyukjae is tired.
He's tired of late nights and early mornings. Tired of trying, tired of training and waiting for his glory days to come.
Lee Hyukjae does not know what to hope for anymore.
That is, he does not know what his dreams are any longer because they seem so far away.
He looks around the cheap, dingy restaurant, with its dim lighting and sticky tables, the people sparse (but for this time of night, considered packed).
All of them had been tired after training, but they, just they held out for a decent meal of samgyupsal.
Donghee, who hadn't eaten anything since breakfast; Jungsu, who never stopped moving even when practice was over; and Sungmin, who said nothing, but just followed while everyone else had gone back to the dorms to sleep.
Hyukjae wonders.
They were put together, told that they would debut together in one large group. But he wonders if they’ll succeed. If the idea isn’t just one big, elaborate, absolutely convoluted and ridiculous scheme bound for failure. Maybe having so many members in one group would drag him down (or rather, he secretly admits, maybe he’d be the one that drags everyone else down).
Hyukjae sighs.
The food hasn’t come yet and Donghee is all arms splayed on the table and mouth hanging in hunger, with Jungsu and his head leaning back in a yawn, arms crossed. Hyukjae looks down at Sungmin, who has decided that his shoulder makes for a good pillow.
Sungmin looks happily back at him with heavy lids hidden under the shadow of his cap, and a tugging curve on his lips and in a moment of dazed clarity, Hyukjae remembers that they’ve come so far already. They’ve trained so hard, and so long. They are close enough to almost taste the fame.
Hyukjae thinks he must be very tired to have lost the faith in his own abilities. Who can he kid? He’s made for this.
He snaps back to reality with the smell of sizzling meat and the crack of Donghee’s disposable wooden chopsticks, and joins a raucous fight over who gets first dibs.
Sorry, no special ending notes here. Other than... I don't know. Doesn't feel like I've finished. Who knows? I might still do more hyukadays if I feel so inclined. ... Not guaranteed ):< And, I don't have any in mind. I swear. LIES!
I'm writing everyday. To this, I can attest.
