SGU 2x19 "Blockade"

Not a whole lot to say about this one...

This close to the end, there's a feeling that anything can happen to anyone, so the drama of it kept me engaged.

The episode before this one brought tears to my eyes. It was curious that the Novis people would choose 19th Century clothing and architecture, but whatever.

Because I missed a few episodes, I must ask what happened to Chloe. wasn't she turning into an alien lizard or something.

I really liked both Novis episodes; the first even better than the second. That's the kind of storytelling I like - just people and a difficult universe, no Big Evil. (Okay, the killer robots made a cameo, but that wasn't what the story was about.)

RE: Chloe - aliens cured her. I don't remember who, or why - just, the show got tired of her turning into a lizard AFAICT... (Heh, looking at my review of the very next episode, I couldn't remember much about the cure!Chloe episode! My brain just shuts off during space battles - I'm at the edge of my seat (metaphorically - usually I'm buried in largish child actually) during them, but after, poof.)

A show that get good just before it get canceled. It happens. When the DVDs of season 2 of SGU come out I should watch that ep you mentioned.
