Slow starting today

It's snowing, and though the stretch of street we live on is level there's very short, very steep bits going either up or down to get out of our immediate neighborhood. Up would be safer, but is probably impossible. Down means I stand a pretty good chance of sliding into the semi-busy street below. Done it before, I'll do it again, but not sure

My sisters are exactly like that, only that she needs her sister RIGHT THERE and if I*m not there, it*s going to get icky. And they are already teenagers. Not that I mind it most of the time but there are a few moments when I want to be in my age-time and not back in my teenage years.

Fortunately, there are two of us, and we're good at negotiating kid coverage. And a lot of the time, they are very independent. It's just not always obvious heading into a situation how they're going to be.
