I don't know what the word was, but I can see this scene happening! I love the interaction, as small as it was, between Claudia and HG, and for Claudia to want to do something for her was excellent. I even liked the idea that telling Myka of HG pain was like a betrayal to HG, and also the thought that HG wasn't a problem, but a person. Great story! It was so short, but it was very powerful and packed quite the punch, my friend.

Thanks! The word was Love. There's an SI help group called, "To Write Love on Her Arms". The story behind it is rather.... moving. I just wanted to try and work it in.

The story is a little graphic so in case you don't to read it... a girl is going to rehab for, i believe, crack. while she's there she freaks out and ends up with the words 'fucked up' 'written' on her arm. the staff freaks out because they're not equipped to handle that kind of behavior and they kick her out. The guy telling the story takes her home to his family and they become her hospital/rehab and his goal is to write love on her arms instead.

I like the idea of Claudia comforting HG. Claudia seemed to be the only one HG really showed a hint of her dark side to.

Nods. Yeah, I know what you mean. Even though Claudia 'technically' isn't a child, I think she's still viewed that way. We often forget they see and take in as much as the do.
