While reading about koseki (Japanese family register) my first thought was: 'Is Aoi still in his family register or did he make his own yet?''

personal, uni, aoi

Own family register of aoi ... ??? ... Does aoi has his own family by now ... ??? ... Or how does this kind of registration work in japan and what is it good for ... ??? ... In my country each family has a family register with a family tree where grandparents parents and childrens are listed and i think you only get one when you get married or a baby ... How is it in your country ... ??? ...

Family register in Japan has two generations in it (parents and children). Once a man or a women marry they establish a new one, but one can remove their name from family koseki and establish their own (tho usally this is only made when marrying). But since koseki kind of stands as household and Aoi has been living on his won since he was 18 he might have his own register by now. I don't know for sure, this was just my first thought when I was reading about it.

We don't have family register in our country at least not in a way Japanese do.
