Last night Amy was playing volleyball at her church. Naturally, I was there with my camera. It was the first time I've really done any sports photography, especially in poor light, so it took me a while to work out how to get decent results ( Read more... )

Yup, that's what I always do for sports. Which really means I *always* shoot aperture priority.

I can't *wait* until I get to shoot some sports. That was a major determining factor for me in choosing lenses, and I'm sure I'll be pleased with the ISOs on my new camera (my last camera only went to 400 and was absurdly grainy even at 200).
