Blindfury's honey was out of town this past weekend, so we decided to take advantage and get a good game of FoW in. The usual 1500 points of Italians vs Indians, with some slight tweaks from our last fight. I thought we both played pretty much picture perfect games. 40k has tought me that there are very few situations where a defensive game is winnable. You can play a static army, but not a defensive strategy if that makes sense. I thought your army did very well. You used the overlapping fields of fire and placement of barriers very effectively, while still leaving key reserves available to counter what was always going to be a last minute grab for the objective. We were both dice whored at different points (a staple of both our luck.) Good games, good drinks, good food, good friends. Perfect weekend. Thanks again.
