oh my fucking christ. This is the most beautiful thing. I'm just stunned. This is an amazing character study, a hot and moving romance, and a damn good comic - so many different parts of my brain are stunned at how good this is. I think I want to make this into a minicomic and print copies for everyone in the fandom.

Absolutely amazing. Masterfully done; this actually gave me a lump in my throat at the end.

You tell the story so powerfully and poignantly here--the black and white graphic style (like an intricate woodcut, so lovely), the trio's expressions and body language, Sylvia's blank menace, and the background narrative are so very affecting--and effective!

I have such admiration for people who can tell a story graphically and distill a story that spans years and covers so much ground into a short series of paneled art. So much love for this; it's just wonderful!
