NOMMY NOMMY UST. Dan getting head injuries rather than, I don't know, talking to Rorschach, is tragic and comic. And...

HAH! Trust Rorschach to have worked it out, to then carry on with the charade AND leave it to poor Dan to raise the topic (okay the fic does leave it open for him to have realized during their conversation, but I will insist on believing what I believe).

Well knowing Rorschach there's probably a 50/50 chance the head trauma route is safer than talking to him ;)

Oh my god, this is so adorably them it's painful (in the best way! :D) Rorschach would so be the taciturn partner who leaves one guessing all the time, and Dan is just too nice to call him on it. Grinning like mad and planning multiple re-readings. :)

This is my favorite flavor. Any chance of a sequel? This kind of slow uncertain consummation is so awesome, I'd love to see more.

Haven't got any ideas for a sequel; not sure where they'd go from here. I kind of thought of this as part of the universe from this fic, but I never really decided since in that 'verse they're not having any sex. And taking the slow uncertain consummation all the way to sex would be cool :D Idk, maybe.

intimate + romantic + sex indefinitely postponed is possibly my most fave Dan/Ror combo ever, and I love the idea that this fic is in the same verse as that other one :D
