What are you eating, and how much? That might have something to do with it - after I had RNY, it was not uncommon for me to go three - four days without pooping. (That's changed now that I'm pregnant, lol.) It could just be that you haven't been eating a lot of solid foods, or not enough fiber, especially since you just had surgery.

Did your doctor give you any sort of post-op instructions? That might tell you what to do. IIRC, I was told I could take a mild stool softener shortly after surgery (and later) as needed.

I had this for a few weeks after surgery. Drink lots of water and go for a long walk. My doctor also recommended Milk of Magnesia.

Talk to your surgeon, but they will probably recommend colace for the constipation. If you are taking a multi-vit that has iron in it (which you need right now) it can cause constipation. Drink LOTS of water and remember to walk - it will also help. You should never let yourself go this long without a BM - call your surgeon!

I'd say the sneeze probably just heaved your freshly revamped insides and your body said "WTH?" You ARE still healing.
