A NEW PART! I can't wait to read it...which is why I will do that right now. (I know I should wait to comment until after I read it, but I've been wondering what would happen next since I read the first part).

Now that I read it, I can officially review it. I definitely didn't expect this type of story, but I am intrigued to say the least. It's such a unique story...I can't even accurately predict what will happen next.I can hardly wait for the next part.

I'm worried that the introduction of the time travel aspect is throwing people, but I'm glad you're still intrigued! I would say don't worry, it's less a time travel story and more of a ______ story, but hey, if you can't predict what will happen next, then I don't want to spoil it for you. ;)

It's not so much that I can't try to predict what will happen next, but I don't know what turns to expect. I mean, part one to part two was so unexpected that I feel like anything could happen. Also, I try not to predict too far ahead for a new story, it makes the story seem like a new adventure. :P

This is making me feel all nostalgic as well, the days where Ryan's kids were little! When they were living in Sherman Oaks, when Colin used to wear those shirts, and god, Nokia cell phones! *smiles* Where did the time go... Here's to hoping that Ryan can make it work the second time around!

I feel like this story is making you sad! I'm sorry? I didn't mean it? But yeah, I know what you mean. As good as things can be, there's always a feeling like you can never recapture the past, and I feel like that's equally reflected in the show as well as the fandom these days. But change and the progression of time brings good things, too. Gotta have the bad so you can appreciate the good, I guess.

Aw, no, I'm not sad, nostalgia is not the same as sadness, I think. Or it isn't to me anyway. :) But this story is about that feeling, isn't it, the sense that some things are gained as time goes on, but a lot of things are lost as well. The idea that we all wish we could go back and do it again- I think that's a very basic human desire, and why stories like these are so attractive.

No, nostalgia's not the same as sadness, but I feel like I'm depressing you. ^_^ I'm glad to know I'm not.

And now I'm trying to figure out if that's what this story is about. And...kind of? There are definitely elements of it, but in the end, I think I'm going for a different message that I don't want to divulge because it might hint at where this story's going, and I want to keep that a surprise. Now that I've realized that, from a reader's perspective, this story is kind of unpredictable, I'm really looking forward to posting to see the kinds of reactions it gets.

I'm not sad. Well, maybe a little. :P But it does feel good to be taken back to the good old days of Whose Line, with its hideous shirts (*inserts appropriate icon*) and cuddly Drew. ^__^ I'm looking forward to seeing where you go with this.

ok, i've seen this in many fics from many writers and i really have to ask.
why trailers?
why not dressing rooms?
am i missing some info? cause i'm pretty sure they had dressing rooms during the abc tapings and i'm 99% sure they have dressing rooms and not trailers now.

That's a good question. I'm trying to figure out why I chose one over the other when I know I've done dressing rooms in the past. Though this story was directly inspired by my going to a taping, where I did get to go through the back lot because I needed to use the bathroom or something, and i feel like i saw trailers back there. Though who knows. It was nearly two years ago, and my memory can be crap. ^_^ Someone should pose the question on Twitter or something!
