Wow, thanks for sharing. While I have a problem with traditional circuses (because of the animals) I have to say this was fun to look at because of the ornately decorted wagons and the old-fashioned look of everything. Very pretty!
You're welcome! :) I think the old restored wagons are so neat. And of course the kids, who are the heart of Circus Days. They work so hard all year for this one week. All of the performers in the Amateur circus, (no animals in that one ^^), are 18 and under. It's really amazing what they can do!
I used to have a problem with the animals when I first moved here, but when I went to the old wintering grounds where the Hall of Fame is and where the animals are kept, etc. with our cub scout pack one year and saw how well loved and cared for they were, it wasn't as big of an issue for me. (wow! talk about a run-on sentence! haha) The animals are born in captivity and better cared for than thousands of domesticated pets.
It is pretty nifty. :) I think everyone should come down, up or over to see it at least once. ^^
The next day, we went to a powered parachute fly-in that my bro-in-law took part in, so I've got a bunch of photos I need to post from that, also. Stay tuned. :)
