But I seem to remember it having members of the Weiss acquiring special powers and Omi getting the short end of the stick and, as a result, having huge problems maintaining a relationship. One of them (Ken?) might have been given pyrokinesis...

I don't think it's Tritorella's - though Omi does get treated very badly - but I can e-mail that to you (for private consumption only) if you like. Is .odt or .php format ok?

It just could be a fic by auburnimp, where they travel in time. A dark Omi in this one. She didn't finish it, and I didn't store all of what she had written, but I can e-mail you some.

I actually have the Tritorella fic that's why I mentioned it (and was skimming through it today)... but the one by auburnimp, I don't think so!

I wonder what fic it had been. Or if it had been by Tritorella too, but a side-series or whatnot. I think it was Yohji-centric too and Yohji had developed mild empathy too.... I can PM you my email? :)

I think that in that fic Weiss and Schwarz to end up sort of getting along... and Weiss weren't the bad guys... I think.

That kinda sounds like the 'Do Not Go Gentle' series by auburnimp, except Omi's evil in that one... the rest of Weiss have powers and team up with Schwartz while Omi and Kritiker hunt them down for being 'freaks'.
