This is pure, unmitigated fluff. You've been warned.
Title: Happily Ever After I - Proposal
Team: Weiss
Word Count: 100
Virtue: Hope
He'd made all the right preparations - hell, he'd even asked Kudou's advice; a decision that had led to much mutual embarrassment and many cigarettes for the other blond.
Still, the room was dimly candlelit, the table was laid with the new good china (the first set to be produced by the new Takatori factory in Ageo) and champagne was cooling in a bucket of ice.
Mamoru would be leaving the office now.
Nagi nervously patted his pocket and sighed. At least he still had the ring.
The silence was broken by the sound of the key in the lock...
Title: Happily Ever After II - Support
Team: Weiss
Word Count: 100
Virtue: Fortitude
"He- They're- WHAT?!" Aya's voice sputtered out in an undignified squawk.
"That's what I said." Yohji observed, fingers trembling as he lit a cigarette. Two empty packs lay on the coffee table beside a rapidly emptying whiskey bottle.
Aya propped himself against the wall, still reeling. "It's a plot. It must be. We need to-"
"-Be supportive." Ken interrupted firmly, slipping an arm around his lover. "This is what Omi wants and - as his family - I think we should support him."
Aya opened his mouth to protest, but closed it as Ken looked pointedly at the couch. "...Aa."
Title: Happily Ever After III - Guest List
Team: Weiss
Word Count: 100
Virtue: Prudence
"Nagi-kun?" Omi asked curiously. "What's that?"
"Ah.." Nagi slid the pages under the newspaper. "Just a few ...precautions. After all, you did say Crawford said they'd come, right?"
"Yes, but-"
“All three of them are coming, right?”
"Yes, but-"
"And you told him why you were inviting them, right?"
"Yes, but-"
"And you said that there'd be beer that they wouldn’t have to pay for, right?"
"Yes, but-"
"And you told them that Weiss will be attending too, right?"
"Yes, but, Nagi-kun, do the all the security personnel really need full riot gear?"
"Only if they can't get anything better."
Title: Happily Ever After IV - Morning After
Team: Weiss
Word Count: 100
Virtue: Temperance
Warnings: Bad Language.
Schuldig raised his head slowly and was relieved to find that it was still attached. He looked around the hotel room for a few moments then rolled over to poke at the Crawford-shaped lump in bed beside him.
"Hey, Brad?"
"Wxytlyzx?"
"Brad!"
"Argh, my HEAD...what is it?"
"You know how you said we shouldn't get Nagi drunk on his stag night at his age so we emptied out the bar beforehand?"
"...yes?"
"Did you really mean for us to drink all the booze?"
"Oh...shit."
Schuldig sank back into bed... then lifted his head. "Uh...Brad?"
"WHAT?"
"Where's Farfarello?"
"Oh fuck."
Title: Happily Ever After V - Union
Team: Weiss
Word Count: 100
Virtue: Faith
All morning, Nagi had been ordering various faceless Takatori minions around; ensuring that Weiss and Schwartz were kept apart, that the flowers were properly arranged and that his (really rather ridiculous) bowtie was properly tied. It wasn't until he was walking up the aisle and the entire congregation of guests turned to look at him that he suddenly thought What am I doing?
It wouldn’t work. He'd drive Ma-Omi away. He'd be tied down...it would all go horribly wrong.
Then he saw Omi turn to smile at him. And just like that, he knew.
They were going to make it.
Title: Happily Ever After VI - At the Reception
Team: Weiss
Word Count: 100
Virtue: Charity
It was Crawford - unsurprisingly - who saw them first. He tensed up, making Schuldig look up from the buffet as Weiss approached warily. Farfarello turned his attention from the Scotch Eggs he'd been filling his plate with and smiled nastily.
Schuldig took one look at the murderous light in Fujimya’s eyes and groaned softly. Nagi would kill them if they started a fight with his new in-laws.
Schuldig stepped forward, just as Hidaka lightly touched Fujimya's elbow. The redhead didn't look around but he relaxed fractionally. There was a moment’s pause before he and Crawford exchanged stiffly formal bows.
Title: Happily Ever After VII - Honeymoon
Team: Weiss
Word Count: 100
Virtue: Justice
The reception had degenerated into a drunken carouse by the time they'd finished greeting all the guests and Nagi was impatient to be gone. Hidaka and Birman had conspired to arrange two weeks of uninterrupted vacation time so he and Omi could have a proper honeymoon and he wanted to go before some crisis meant that time would be lost.
He’d already arranged for a suitable expression of gratitude; a month without missions and a new shop. Fair was fair - Hidaka had been the only one to really welcome him into the Weiss ‘family’. And Nagi always paid his debts.
