i think people really only like this city because they bond over how much they hate the city. Then they feel a part of something and then forget they hate this city so much that it turns to like...which turns to hard love.

I somehow ended up working in Portland. Never thought I'd end up in Maine back when I started college.. still not sure if it's a good or bad thing. ;)

believe me, it is most definitely a good thing. how did you wind up working there? what do you do?

I work @ TD Banknorth HQ in Old Port. I definitely love strolling around Old Port during lunch breaks, though I don't love the cobblestone much in the winter when there is ice between the cracks. :P

I'm from the Providence area, which is like Old Port in some parts, but not as unique. I miss having the big mall, but other than that Maine has been nice.
