Funny How Things Change, Isn't It?

Going after something you want is never easy. Ever. Whether it's a job, a boy, a girl, a scholarship, a dream, you've got to be prepared to sprint after it, get turned around, fall on your ass, and then get right back up and keep on running.

Well. Isn't that lovely and motivational? God, I'm shit at the whole "earnest" schtickOkay, what I'm trying ( Read more... )

*hugs*

Good luck with this huge step in your life. Journalism! XD That was my degree in college. It was a fun and learning experience, and I hope you enjoy it as much as I did, if not more.

I may not be able to pay my own rent, but damn it if I can't dictate what England says to Russia. Awesome.

*laughs* That is an awesome feeling.

Oh, that's so cool! I can't wait to get this degree. It's going to be so much fun, chasing after politicians and running down stories. XD

Oh honey. *Hugs* I know you're gonna do great and everything is going to work out just fine.

(And you know, look at it this way; a little ego-bruising is good for us. Life does have these little ways of reminding us that we're just one dipshit in an ocean of dipshits, and that that's honestly okay, since we're all being dipshits together.)

/is awesome at earnest and motivational

This is probably gay as hell for me to say, but Hetalia--and writing with you, specifically, miss--has really helped me cope with some nasty stuff going on in my life, and I'm so grateful that I met you. So, I'll always be around, to help you relax or escape or blow off steam.

And like, I'm totally cheering for you. ♥

*hugs you back* You always, always know what to say, don't you, darling? ♥

But, no, seriously, it is a totally gay thing to say, but it's totally true. Totally. I've dealt with so much shit by writing with you. And, I mean, who else is lucky enough to have someone to write them awesome psychosexual scarring fics when they're stressed out about finals week?

Love you, babe.

*snuggles you*

I also changed Universities- I think it was the right decision. Back to my hometown, just like you! But yes; 'shit scary' does sum it up quite nicely. Still- don't panic!

I'm sorry England cleaned you out. He has a habit of that. Sticky fingers, that man. Will delve into your pockets and your trousers, if he gets half a chance. Still, makes America and Canada cheap for me, so drinks all round I say.

But yes. Have a cuddle from a short British lesbian. ~*snug*~

Thanks, gorgeous. I guess we'll figure out whether either of us made the right decision soon enough. ♥

This Russian girl wants to hug you now.

*hugs*

Changes can be tough and stressful, and I can fully sympathize with you because I'm switching universities, too. (And being sooo nervous about that. ~_~) I can't say anything about ego-bruising, though. (I live in the country where, um, living with your parents until you get married is perfectly normal and good and traditional, and doing otherwise is considered a somewhat rebellious behaviour. ._.)

Anyway. *snuggles closer* Good luck with all this, I'm cheering for you! And I'm so glad that writing Hetalia fanfiction makes your life less stressful.

*hugs you too*

I think I just got hugs from four different countries! XD

I live in the country where, um, living with your parents until you get married is perfectly normal and good and traditional, and doing otherwise is considered a somewhat rebellious behaviour

My family is Italian, and that's how it is with the ones who live in Italy. People will live with their parents until they're like thirty. I think it's kind of a nice idea for families to stay close like that.

And I'm so glad that writing Hetalia fanfiction makes your life less stressful.

Haha me too! Fandom is saving my ass, here! XD

Oh, thanks so much, sweetheart! ♥

I wish there was such a thing as fic-writing commissions.

You and me both, dude. I'd be requesting stuff all over this nutty fandom. XD

Spazzing over something hot or laughing at something funny or even getting that epic feeling after someone has said that they like your work is how fandom helps everyone cope and deal with RL shit.

It totally does, and I'm so glad I've got this amazing outlet and all these awesome people. I can't tell you how many times your gorgeous art has made my day, so yeah. Thanks for that, love.
