-Another array. Metal and Fire. She kept the pressure game up expertly, rarely giving Marisa a moment to adjust. It was a familiar stand off for them, at least.-

I take it you haven't your full arsenal.

-Patchy follows it up with another spellcard. This time a literal "bomb" being tossed.-

Fire & Metal Sign: St. Elmo's Pillar!!

-If Marisa wanted to play the distance game, Patchouli would certainly oblige her.-

[And when it comes to risk taking, no one could beat Marisa in that area.

With a smile, she moved the hakkero behind her]

Blazing Star!

[Her Spark fired off behind her, blasting her body forward at ridiculous speeds. In a tense danmaku scenario, it was a pretty big risk but it was better than dodging for hours waiting for Patchouli to show a weakness.]

-Marisa zoomed right past the St. Elmo's Pillar. Shit.

Marisa was heading right toward her. Double Shit.

She couldn't get up a defensive card fast enough. Triple Shit.-

[She's ridiculously happy when she's flying forward. You know, that bright smile shining on her face.]

[And then CRACK.

-It was a big hit, taking the wind out of Patchy but not enough to ground her. Marisa, however, was not so fortune. Because in spite of a valiant effort to catch and grab her opponent, the force of the impact caused her to botch and watch helplessly as Marisa plummeted to the floor.-

[TUCK AND ROLL was the motto of the day but there was still a sickening crunch that rang out when Marisa hit the ground.]

Marisa! -That sound made Patchouli's stomach churn. She zoomed down to check on the other girl, fearing the worse.-

[Well, you know Marisa. She was already rolling to her feet despite the fact that he left arm kind of hung there uselessly.]

We're not done yet!

Not done yet?! Look at yourself! -Patchouli shouldn't have been surprised, but oh well. Still, she has severe reservations of continuing the duel with as injured as Marisa was.-

What about it??

[Just to keep Patchy from complaining more, she uses her right hand to summon up a small magic circle and spit out a small wave of danmaku]
