sdfj;la this is ... so apropos to nothing, but I just wanted to say I am really enjoying the thread with Patchy in the DR. I don't think we've ever threaded before...? idk, but I'll admit I've never really stalked her before so finally threading with her was a pleasant surprise... Their odd little friendship is awesome to delve into;; Plus I was really surprised with all the little historical and literature references here and there, LOL I'm way too derp to ever be able to pull that off. Maybe I'm just easily awed dla;s but I just thought it was really neat.

Um anyway, LOL YEAH I'm babbling silly stuff by this point, I just wanted to say that. I think I will start reading your Patchy now because she is a pretty cool dude.

It wasn't memorable because I was awful back then, ha ha. I am just... so happy to hear this. You and the others in the CFUD touhou cast are my inspirations in RPing in this fandom.

Hi, I just wanted to leave a couple of comments on some things I've noticed about your Patchouli. (Pardon the sock)

Generally I think you're doing a fine job with her. I think you manage to do the snark and intelligent tendencies very well. However, I think with her interactions with the newest Marisa, adropofjupiter, are rather out of character.

If I see things correctly, she wasn't shipped with the last Marisa (lasersallover).almost never leaves her library. For any good reason. I highly doubt she would go to a highschool social event just because of a pair of puppy-dog eyes from Marisa.

It may be because of the shipping itself (in love = foggy mind/in love = I'd do things for you I wouldn't do for anything else), but to me, at least, it's incredibly out of character for Patchouli to bend over backwards for anyone. Even Remilia, her best friend, isn't safe from her rude snarking, as shown in the fighting games ( ... )

Actually, she WAS shipped with the last Marisa, which is where everything started. I understand lacking that information may make a lot of this seem sudden. The ground work for her appreciation for Marisa was laid by the previous player, Caleb, and his Marisa.

That being said, I will keep this in mind and try to go a bit easier on the sap.

Alright, thank you for explaining that to me. I have actually read some of your threads with the old Marisa, and it just didn't seem like shipping to me. So that's a misconception on my part.

I'm still questioning, however, why Patchouli would (as I said before) "bend over backwards" for Marisa. The homecoming thing, for example.

I guess that comes down to interpretation. To me, her relationship with Marisa, even just as a friend, means more to her than others might see. Not to say it means more than her friendship with Remilia, but rather it has a different impact on her life, and a profound one.
