i do a lot of vintage hairstyles and i get asked snidely at least once a day "wow, how long does it take you to get ready?" I've also been accused of being high maintenance. it really takes me about 15 minutes every morning, but that doesn't even matter. bitches gotta hate when a girl's looking good.

Yeah doing this was EASY and didn't take very long at all. 15 minutes tops. But that night at work I got asked sooo many times what the "fancy occassion" was. There wasn't one, I just wanted to look nice.

that's my big thing - there's nothing wrong with looking nice. i don't understand why it takes so many people aback. it's not like i'm going to the gym in a full face of makeup for anything, i just want to look decent at work.

I just read that book over Thanksgiving! I LOVED it! So fucking good! I really really really hope he writes more, he totally set it up for a sequel.
