oh lord. needless to say i think this quote is amazing, and i guess i'm kind of at the wrong end of it, but books sure as hell do hurt. i find myself being affected by the stupid books i read about teaching even now, and it's been months and i still think about moby dick all the time. it's really amazing how the written word can affect people. it's even more amazing how little it affects others.

ps - the marge book is deffinitely going to crack the very foundation that my life is formed upon.
