I am incurably nosy and spoilers don't bother me at all, so I loved this post. I am also broke and will be unable to buy a copy until after two weeks *weep* I am a grown up and that explains the having no money part.
I bawled like a baby from the time Dumbledore died to the ending. I accidently saw a spoiler and knew it was coming, but I still didn't want it to happen. And Snape did completely make sense, but for me, my mind just kind of went to Voldermort and stayed there, what with learning about his past, how he was close to the potions teacher, and it was neat that the HBP wasn't the first character you'd think it was

I agree with you so much. I absolutely loved this book, and deem it my favorite above all. I sobbed when Dumbledore died, I was furious with Snape through the majority of the book, and there were lots of times I just wanted to smack Ron for his relationship with Lavender. ;-) I've always supported Tonks/Remus in fanon, but I never actually thought it would happen in canon! I had to reread that part so many times, just to make sure it was really there.
I don't understand why people are upset over Snape being the half-blood Prince! It totally made sense! It tied the entire story together! But, then again, some people just don't like it when their theories are proved wrong. I'll be interested to see some of the Harry/Hermione sites after this....I'll bet there will be a lot of them making excuses for how Harry & Hermione will end up together in the end. o.O
I also liked Luna a lot more in this book. In the last book, I didn't care for her much. She just...irked me. Now I adore her. ♥
omg... wow... I love everything that you are saying. Especially your thoughts on RB... I hope that that's true cause that just sounds soooo right. I mean, Regalus was f'ed up, but to do at least one thing for Harry sounds sooo good.
I did like the whole Draco development, but I'm still like, you little bitch wtf.
Tonks/Lupin totally outta left field for me. Plus the description of her Patronus change did sound more like Sirius which is was JKR wanted us to think, but still. Left field.
