On the other side of the door is an institutional hallway -- industrial fluorescent lights, tile floor, white-washed cinder-block walls. What appear to be closets or maintenance rooms open off the hall, and about fifty feet down it intersects another hallway in a T. Nobody is in sight.

As he steps back from the doorway, the soldier takes a discreet, deep breath.

Probably not.

He ruffles the soldier's hair.

"We're done with you," he says. "Get out of here."

In control-forced silence, the man heads for the stairs.

"Don't worry," Chainsaw adds, in his Will's direction. "I'm just gonna make sure he doesn't come after us."

With that less-than-reassuring admonition, he steps through the door, motioning Aaron Luke through after him.
