hmm...Edwards was way down my list last time around as far as a favorite candidate. I'll take a "wait and see" stance on whether I'll like him enough this time to move him up the line.

Out of curiosity, and not confrontationally (as if I need to say that to you, but just to be clear): what did you find less than appealing about him?

It wasn't really a matter of not liking him, it was a matter of liking all of the other candidates more to be honest. So who knows, if I don't like anyone else better, he may move up! *laugh*

Huh. I love so many things about him--his populism, his intelligence (and okay, his charisma doesn't hurt either)--but I have to admit, last time around I thought he was too green (as in young, not too environmentalist). Here's hoping he's grown enough in the interim that he won't be perceived as a lightweight.

And speaking of environmentalism, man, a Gore-Edwards ticket? That's something I could get behind... though I suspect Edwards wouldn't want to be the VP candidate a second time.

i think he's far and away not only the best candidate we've got, but actually the best choice for president i've seen in a long time, and i mean that sincerely.
