We're going to keep Socks until her owner can find her a permant home. It's for the best, Socks really doesn't like it here. Snaps at Heidi and cowers. But, Heidi has taken to having a dog around; harasses Socks to play (who refuses). After we find Socks a new home we will look for another dog. Heidi was really good with the baby, actually ignored the baby for the most part. She pricked her ears when the baby cried and did sniff the baby. Actually, one time the baby started crying and Heidi took her stuffed moose to the baby (to play probably). Didn't get the baby to stop crying but I thought it was cute ( Read more... )

Some family friends are coming over for dinner tonight. They haven't been here in a long time, since before we got Heidi, so they will be meeting her tonight. I'm a big wary of it. Some of you might have seen some vague remarks I have made about Fuzz. Well I figure I better post about her. Fuzz had a mild stroke half a week ago. Today we took Heidi to the vet. Everybody loved her, she was very sweet but scared. She was friendly with the other dogs and backed away when an agressive dog snarled at her. She leaned against me and hid her head in my arms, poor girl ( Read more... )
