I'm proud to be a rabid HP fangirl. I've read HPB twice because it's my least favorite of the series (still good though!). I do know I'll be doing another marathon reading session before the last book is released. I did it with book 5 and 6 :]

Now an opera might be interesting, but there are other peopel an ateroid should be named after. LIKE HARRISON FORD!!

Already done! I remember reading an article about a species being named after him so I just googled it.
Calponia harrisonfordi and Peidole harrisonfordi (under Trivia near the bottom)

I don't know how I feel about an opera - and I seriously adore operas, which is perhaps why I'm kind of "eh" about it. Could be good or rather silly, honestly.

And that'd be really awesome about being in England for Harry Potter goodness! Truly. ^_^

I dunno if it would be truly an opera, could be a musical! They turned Monty Python into a musical, they can do Potter.

I dunno - Monty Python I could readily see as a musical, even as a silly one. Partially because it was shot on about $5 budget. ;)
But Harry Potter, and other fantasies, rely a lot on being, well, fantastic. Some of the stuff they'd have to cut to do on stage I would miss dreadfully. Unless it was an opera film. . . Hmm.

Well riding a broomstick wouldn't be terribly hard! Neither would spell casting, a stick and a puff of colored smoke! Some stuff would be hard but it would be so cool how they do it.
