Yeah, it only gets worse once you actually do have a steady boyfriend, even though it seems like people will lay off for a while they totally don't! I'm lucky that we got married and are having kids fairly early by today's standards, so not much opportunity for people to get too annoying. The first time someone asked us when we were having kids, I was 19 years old. I don't think they realized that, but still...yeah, people are nuts. Ask them if they're going to die soon since they have clearly served their purpose in life :P
