Israel and Equus (lolz, such a wide range!)

I'm now starting to look into the Birthright Israel program. I want to go so badly and this is my last chance. I'd love to go with a Jewish friend. I don't know many Jews that I consider friends (I know a few on my f-list are!). I really don't want to go alone. To fellow Jews on my f-list; interested? Hehe, it's free if you've never gone and it's ( Read more... )

What day would #3 be? It's hard because if my mom were subtly guilting me it would mean she really wanted me to come home since she's not one to guilt at all. It'd be fun to be in NYC on Thanksgiving but I guess I would probably come home. It's probably a lot cheaper to fly back Thursday morning than Wednesday night or Saturday. Or you could go out of your way to plan something really nice for the two of you for when you get back, kind of a rain check on Thanksgiving. Maybe that would make her feel better?

I'm not Jewish but Birthright Israel sounds really cool, I'd want to go if I was.
And if you were going to Equus in the summer I would seriously consider going with you, but I'd have to miss class to go and I just can't. :( *sad*

That would be first thing on Thanksgiving so I'm home that night. The raincheck idea is something I'll have to mention to mom.

My friends who went to birthright (Taglit) had so much fun, even when they went alone. I don't think you should go only if you have a friend...
Drop by to say hi~ :P

Oh I plan on going anyway, it's my last chance. I'd just rather go with somebody I know ya know?
Haha :3

I'll take the ticket! I can get down to NYC by bus since even if my car is functional by then (or I have a new one) I don't want to deal with parking in the city. Still no word on school, and even if I did it'd be the online stuff so I really don't see a problem.
But I checked my calender and I don't see the dilemma - Thanksgiving isn't until the 27th, and in your other post you said the show is the 19th, so you could go back on Saturday and do Thanksgiving with your family. You won't get the Macy's parade, though. Unless I'm getting something wrong?

Really? My mom is making a huge deal that it's that Thursday. You're right too! *headdesk*

Okay ^__^ Would you go into NYC for the day or a few days? Yay! *happy she's going with somebody she knows*

Moms! I had to check because even if my work wasn't planning on me working Thanksgiving if I asked for it off they'd flip out. :P I'd like to be in the city at least two days, I'm not fond of spending on all day on the bus. Plus NYC trip! Yay! But Chris will probably start to whine if I'm gone too long.

And on the ticket, just tell me when you need moneys - for the time off I have to give my work about a month notice.

The ticket is $116. It's front row Mezz, a bit off to the left if I remember correctly. Good seats ^.^
I can actually use the money for when I go to NYC so if you can send it sometime in October that would be good :3
When the time comes I can give you my home address.

Will you want to stay at the hotel with me? I booked a room originally in the Bronx. I'm going to keep looking for someplace decently priced closer to the theater but at least there's a room! :P
