Universal Studios on fire
The iconic courthouse square from "Back to the Future" was destroyed,and the famous clock tower that enabled Michael J. Fox's character to travel through time was damaged, fire officials said. That's so horrible! :( I love that movie to death, and I've seen the set in person too, when I've visited there. It's horrible to think it's not there anymore. They can't even use it as a set for any other movies (which would have been an awesome homage to Back to the Future.)

Dammit. Do they know how it started?

That's crazy that you can see it from your house! I can always rely on you for the real "Hollywood reporting"!! :D

They don't know the cause yet. I went to the valley yesterday for dinner and the smoke smelled like burning plastic because it hit the video tape room.

I just hope they can rebuild and repair the BttF set, it won't be the same but it's a start. It also hit part of the Tram ride, it got to King Kong :\
