Okay, this is it. Erin is scheduled for a C-section at 7 o'clock tomorrow morning. She'll be at 38 weeks and 1 day. The ultrasound from last week estimated Baby A as weighing 7lbs 4oz and Baby B at 7lbs 8oz. Give or take, but that was the estimate. (As she's only gained 18 pounds, it looks like her ass has completely disappeared.)

Wow! Shes the most *pregnant* pregnant woman ive ever seen. I hope things go smoothly for all, and life as a family of five isnt as hard as shes fearing. I bet the babies will be wonderful once they arrive.

I also wish Nic wasnt such a self-centered douche but am sure youll manage to be adult, even if he cant.

I know, right? The physics are amazing.

Nic is gonna Nic, and I just have to be careful not to get caught up in the drama. Why are they doing this c-section so early in the morning? Wouldn't doctors rather operate at 5 in the afternoon when he's they're awake?

Because if everything goes well and baby(ies) are healthy, they cannot discharge them (and mom) until after the 24-hour checkup, and hospitals these days operate much like hotels in that if you're not out by noon, they charge you for another day, so they want all the babies to be born early in the morning to achieve maximum turnover on beds.

I'm not even kidding.

I'm astounded at that photo. Like Dine that's the biggest baby bump I've seen.

I hope everything goes well for all, and by the time you read this Erin has gone from terrified to enjoying her new babies.

As for Nic. Words escape me. I keep thinking he can't get worse, and each time I'm shown that I'm wrong.

Unbelievable. If I saw that belly in a movie I'd say, fire the prosthetics guy, it's totally over the top. How does she walk without falling over backwards?! :)

And I think you treat Nic with exactly the respect he deserves. ;)

I'm so glad you posted! I've been stalking your twitter hoping for updates. Poor Erin looks wildly uncomfortable, but by now the babies are here and I hope they and Erin are all doing well.

And Nic? I marvel at your saint-like patience! Great balls of fire, what a piece of work he is.
