June Bug Story

This is a time stamp for The Epic of the Lambs: Straight Out From Underneath. I really had such a good time revisiting this, and how much do I love this Lance and Justin? Anyway, it really doesn't stand alone very well at all, so if you haven't read the Epic, this is kind of meh.

I just re-read the Epic of the Lambs last month. This fits so well it's like it was always there.

Oh, wow, thank you. What a wonderful thing to say, like it's the best thing you could have said. I really tried, that's so much what I was going for.

Not to be all "what they said" but I am so glad to see more of this story. I love your lambs. This part fit very well into the epic and I felt it was real. I would love to read more of it. :)

Oh, man, I honestly don't know what there is left to say about this story. Although obviously I found something. :)

And thank you so much. It was a pleasure to write.

Omg ♥! You know I always love getting more glimpses of this, of them, and this Justin feels so dead on. I love the distinction between *wanting* to tell and *going* to tall. And also that he's so nervous, trying to hedge his bets a little with the "I think", and that Lynn immediately calls him on it and is totally more worried about what the uncertainty might mean than she is at all inclined to be hopeful that it's something he might back away from again. And then the very characteristic reactions of the other three guys, of course overshadowed by what we as readers already know about what happens down the road. And I also really like how that dovetails with the idea that Lynn and the guys already knew what Justin and Lance told them, but there's still a value in the act of telling, bringing it into the open; just like I'm really glad you wrote this and we get to read it, despite whatever else we already know. YAY.

I really tried to get back in that headspace from the beginning of their story. Justin was very aware of him mom and her reactions to him. And yes, they all knew or suspected already.

I realized when I was poking around through the chapters that I went from Justin wanting to keep things a secret to everyone knowing without addressing this part of it.

I really enjoyed writing this, more than I expected to when I started. I always think there's nothing left to tell here, but I guess there is.

Thank you for your wonderful words, as always.

It's so fantastic to revisit this universe. I really enjoyed seeing the different reactions to Justin and Lance's announcement and Justin's talk with his mom too. That she knew and was prepared to call him on it, but also so obviously protective of him.

I have to admit I like this Lynn a lot. I wrote her kind of like an ideal mother in this 'verse.

And thank you so much.
