Biggest regret: Not starting college right out of high school and just sticking it through full time to get done in 4-5 years instead of the 9 its going to take.

the job has definitely kept me here and my family! i almost left over a year go to try to get a producer gig in a smaller market! (since i wasn't experienced enough to get one out here) BUT they promoted me, and now i'm a producer here! b/c of that, i had to sign a 2 year contract. (usually people who work here have worked at least 2-5 years experience in a smaller market) i now have a total of 2.5 years experience! so now if i tried to move it wouldn't be so bad...or as hard.
i still have 1 year 4 months left of my contract. (i am seriously counting down) i am definitely looking for another job after that. part of my contract has a non-compete clause, so i can't work for another tv station in vegas for exactly 1 year. so i really have no choice but to move, if i don't want to sign on another contract at my station. (that would be like voluntarily staying in jail!) i hope this made sense. (1 year 4 months, totally counting down)
