[Can't blame a guy for wanting to drop in on his girlfriend and surprise her with something. The day after Sokka found the ball pit, he went to go find Suki-- he'd hoped she'd show up, but maybe she didn't hear the transmission or something, who knows? She wasn't in her room. No where on the ship, that he could find, anyway-- none of the standard

[Crap. He has an idea of who.]

[He meant to say "we should be used to it", but doesn't notice the alternate pronoun he's picked.]

... Who?

Suki.
[And he clears his throat.]

There's a moment where Toph wants to slam her fist into a wall. But it's quickly overrun by something else; make sure Sokka's okay.]
She survived that crazy serpent.
She survived a Fire Nation prison and Azula and an airship fleet.
If there's anyone who can survive this place, it's her.

[This is kind of awkward. This Katara never really saw when he and Suki were together, so... he knows she understands why he's sad. It just makes him feel bad that he can't quite articulate it.]

Suki was her friend too. Even in the short time she'd been here, they'd.. bonded, in a sense. A girlfriend who didn't bite her head off like Toph did, someone her own age even. Or close to.]
She's.. She's home now. She'll be okay. I'm so sorry..
[Katara still doesn't know people die. Won't believe it if she's told. She can hold onto that hope.]

It's hard to keep the emotion out of his voice when she says that. She's not okay, says some part of his mind.]
Yeah. She... she will be.
