Because Kurt and Blaine aren't Finn. RIB+6's pre-destined hero mold is only to be given to him.

I would love to read your interpretation, though! As I really, really liked this. No matter how much RIB+6 completely and utterly trashed that, I know she was actually moved by their gesture. Even though I got why she was, "thanks, but no," at that point and time.

Sigh, I know right? I used to love Finn's character, but now it seems like they are trying to push the whole 'I am the heterosexual white boy that can fix all your problems' so far that it seems very disengenuine and the writers lack of applying as much to the other characters (or at least giving them a little of the hero complex Finn gets) highlights how unbalanced it all is. But, I digress. As for GJWHF, I feel like Santana feels like she has a little more room to be vulnerable around Finn because it's already been established that she has some sort of power over him. Whereas with Kurt and Blaine, where Santana's insults get to Finn, they clearly do not get to either Kurt or Blaine. If Finn were to ever use her 'moment of weakness' as she probably thinks it against her, she already knows she has the power to stop him. She doesn't with Kurt or Blaine, even though they would never do that.

That's...a really good point. I'd never really thought of it that way.

Thanks! I want to know though, how did you rationalize the whole Perfect/GJWHF thing when you watched the episode? :)
And btw, ur icon, I remember the night that happened! Tumblr exploded and everyone thought it was Quinn coming out... good times. :) I miss Glee Live! haha

So it turns out we basically had the exact same reaction to that. I'd love to get your read on Girls Just Wanna Have Fun-that really bothered me too.

Also, I like "Lady Elf and Bowtie Blainers".

Thanks for this.

Thank YOU for reading! And I'm glad to know I wasn't the only one bothered by it! As for GJWHF, like I was saying in the precious comment, I just feel like it's a power complex thing for Santana. Where she has been shown to have power over Finn, it has also been shown that she does not on either Kurt or Blaine. Where her insults get to Finn, they don't get to Kurt or Blaine. So, I think Santana felt like she had a little bit more leeway with Finn than with Kurt and Blaine, because she can successfully do 'damage control' with Finn if he ever decided to use her 'moment of weakness' as she probably thinks it was against her. And also, thanks! I knew I had to come up with pretty good nicknames for them for Santana to be thinking about them so I gave that some thought! Haha.
