What is the status of the infirmary, in comparison to what you are accustomed to on the Enterprise? Have there been any great leaps in medicine between the twenty-second and twenty-third centuries?
This Infirmary is damned near primitive compared to the Enterprise, I'd date the technology to the late twenty-first century. I can't say I know a great deal about twenty-second century medicine though from what I understand some of the greater breakthroughs were made during the time. I can look into the matter more- are you just curious Commander?
Curious for my inmate. He has the ability to produce - magic. We've spoken, and he's agreed to make certain potions for the infirmary. If you're largely limited to twenty-first century medicine, I don't doubt his products will be useful.

I hesitate to use 'magic' from other worlds on the masses but if he's willing to give an explanation of what he can make it'll be worth listening to.

He has given me explanations of the solutions he intends to make; how he intends to do it, I am unaware of.
