OT Assessment

 I finally had my long awaited OT assessment, and I'm wondering what the point of it was. According to her, I should continue struggling up and down stairs as - this is the good bit - it brings a bit of colour to my face. I should continue struggling to use the bathroom as it also brings coour to my face. She does agree that perhaps my front door

What difference does the ammount of colour in your face make to your ability or pain levels?

that is appalling - I know it's extra hassle, but can you complain - although I've no idea who you'd complain to. your doctor in teh first instance maybe??

She sounds as much use as the proverbial chocolate teapot! Who can you report her to and get a second opinion from somebody proper?!

Yes, you should definitely ask for another assessment - this is Not Good. Go and see your doctor again, sharpish, and tell him/her what has happened.
