I often wonder how my parents would have reacted to me dating. I always said I was going out with friends and never specified who they were. when I got older I said the same thing, on occasion I'd say who it was, but never brought them over. a couple of guys met my mom after the "date" but those guys never stuck around

Well my dad has only had the chance to panic once. I was similar in that I never really mentioned them, but then I actually met a guy I was seriously into. I was 15 though, so I understand why. Lucky for him, he's never had to repeat the horror!
