[What starts as quiet whining escalates until it fills the airwaves, becoming shrill, high barks. There's the scramble of paws on wood as the communicator skitters across the floor and a puppy comes racing out. Then the steady thump thump thump of a tail hitting the ground, until the whining begins again. And then there's silence.]

[Harry reached out and scratched Tara behind the ears, trying hard not to think how weird it was and just that Tara would enjoy it.]

[Tara's instincts were waffling between "dog" and "Person", so when Harry started skritching, she just squirmed with pure puppy joy. She caught herself and barked, looking up at him.]

[Willow! Harry, you have to stop Willow! She's a vampire!]

I'm going to leave Mouse here with you to watch over you. I'm going to try and stop Willow from doing anything she'll regret.
