Now that's what I like. :P I have to say, all the years of reading possessive!Spike and with the 'you're mine' etc etc, I have um, a small(ish) thing for um, that. :P I just love it. Just possessive enough to be sexy, and as its the heat of the moment while having sex, its not possessive enough to be creepy.

Also, "You're looking much... cockier... since we last met.". Haha. Love it.

LOL, you know I hadn't been thinking "Vacation," but yes, that is surely an influence. As is my own family. I forgot to mention it in my A/N, but my dad used to always wake me and my siblings for family trips with the "Up and at 'em" line at like 4:30 in the morning!

And I'm glad you enjoyed the steamy part. It was pretty unexpected for me too!

Phew! Wow. Yes, that was positively delicious.... my hubby will be quite happy I read that, I can assure you :-D. I just had to comment, because this: "...making it quite the impressive bit of 'equipment,' suitable for both fanfic and porn." made me scare the pee-wine out of my cats because I laughed so loud, so hard! Everytime I think of it, I snicker heartily - I love it when people write really well and take their fics seriously, but I love it when people write really well and still have a little fun. So, yeah - thanks for the great story, the unexpected smut AND the belly laugh!

Hehe thanks, I'm glad I could satisfy your reading needs :) I tend to tread the line when it comes to parody. I don't think that my fic falls into that realm, but I can't help but acknowledge some of the fanfic conventions from time to time. I'm glad it made you laugh!
